Location: Harbor House 767 N. Ventura Ave.
Available for: Grades 4-8 / Ages 10-14
In this hands-on class for grades 4–8, students will learn what it means to be the hands and feet of Jesus through local service projects in Ventura, CA. The leaders at COC (The Community Outreach Center under Two Trees Church) will teach students what it looks like to love their neighbors by meeting practical needs, and shining God’s light in our city. Each week, we'll work together on meaningful outreach—like blessing bags for the unhoused, prayer walking the neighborhood, encouraging notes for first responders and leaders in our community, local service projects, park clean up and more! We hope to teach our students how Christ calls us to serve with compassion, humility, and joy.
Required Supplies: Please bring a water bottle, wear clothes that can get dirty and closed toe shoes.
